Under the supervision of the Financial Operation Manager, provides high-level administrative and technical support for contract and grant application process and post-award fund administration for assigned Principle Investigators within the departments of Biochemistry, Microbiology & Plant Pathology and Nematology. Will be responsible for proposals and awards of diverse scope where analysis of data requires a thorough understanding of complex regulations. Perform high-level budget/resource analyses and prepare monthly financial reports for principal investigators utilizing campus financial systems. Track and reconcile expenses for extramural and other fund sources maintaining fiscal integrity and internal controls. Applies professional concepts to provide projections and analyze spending and proactively resolve issues.

The full salary range for the Grants & Financial Analyst is $33.11 - $48.39 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $33.11 - $40.45 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
