Position Summary
The Assistant Registrar is responsible for assisting the Records & Registration Team with daily office functions and processes as well as university functions that support the flow of the semester. Job Duties and Responsibilities The Assistant Registrar will be a knowledgeable, and helpful resource for departments, students, and stakeholders regarding the records and registration areas of responsibility.
Duties will include daily processing of forms and requests, responding to emails, and being primary on records and registration team phone.
Assisting with transcript and diploma orders, assisting students with questions, and being familiar with the technology platform.
Assist with end-of-term processes and work with the team to ensure accurate, timely processing of grades, academic standing and academic recognition.
Stay current with registration updates for the campus and be a resource for questions.
Process directory requests and verification requests.
Ability to understand and interpret policy and procedures.
Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic to intermediate knowledge of Excel and Google Suite. Banner preferred. Skills Considered Essential for Success -Knowledge of the organization and administration of higher education.

Required Education and / or Experience The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and two years of experience in higher education administration.
