Position Summary
The University of Central Arkansas Athletic Trainer position is
responsible for providing athletic training services within the 19 Div. I
intercollegiate athletic programs. Specific medical coverage
assignment will be with Women Soccer and Softball. The athletic
program is in the NCAA- Div. I ASUN Conference. Job Duties and Responsibilities The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) invites applications for a
full time 12-month Athletic Trainer position through the athletic
department. The university is committed to creating a culture that

candidate(s) will provide medical coverage to Division I student-
athletes. Medical coverage assignment will be with women soccer and
softball. Summer assignments as assigned by the head athletic trainer. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Skills Considered Essential for Success -Knowledge of the organization and administration of higher education.

- Demonstrate effective follow-up. Required Education and / or Experience Must be certified by the BOC and have a completed master’s degree
by the date of appointment in athletic training, kinesiology, sports
medicine or related field. Preferred Education and / or Experience Preferred qualifications are 2 years experience as a practicing certified,
licensed athletic trainer and experience as a preceptor or mentoring
students.
