Position Summary
The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) invites applications for a 9-month Clinical Instructor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science. The Department of Exercise and Sport Science (EXSS) is home to over 500 students, offering undergraduate degrees in Exercise Science and Physical Education Teacher Education programs along with graduate degrees in Exercise Science, Athletic Training, and Sport Management. Additionally, a certificate program in Sport Marketing and Commerce can be included with a graduate program or as a standalone certificate. Please visit the department’s website for more information : http : / / uca.edu / exss / Job Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will teach courses in the Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) Program and the Department of Exercise and Sport Science, be a liaison for the university and surrounding regional schools, mentor undergraduate students, and provide service to the department, college, and university. Preferred Education and / or Experience Preference will be given to individuals with teaching experience in higher education and / or K-12, knowledge and experience with an accredited Physical Education Teacher Education Program, background in rhythmical activities, experience with supervising students, and the ability to teach courses related to Physical Education and Exercise Science. License(s) / Certifications (Required or Preferred)
