Position Summary
The Head Men’s Golf Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and serves as a member of the department staff that is committed to excellence and advancing the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics through its strategic plan and vision. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Providing direction and leadership for the Men’s Golf program, coordinating the day-to-day operations of the program to include, but not limited to, recruiting and roster
management, practicing, scheduling, planning and preparation for tournament play.
Coordinating the logistics for all team travel to tournament competitions including transportation, lodging, and meals.
Coordinating the procurement of all team-related gear, equipment, supplies and services. Maintaining care of appropriate equipment and Central Arkansas Golf
Facilities.
Monitoring the program budget to ensure fiscal responsibility and sound budgetary processes and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with NCAA Division I, Atlantic Sun, and University rules and
regulations.
Working collaboratively with Athletic Academic Advising to monitor academic progress
and student-athlete success.
Serving as liaison to and work in a highly collaborative fashion with alumni and friends of
the program.
Other duties as assigned.
