The role of the Student Manager is to complete setups for all events held in the Ronnie Williams Student Center and Ida Waldran Auditorium, manage the Student Center on nights and weekends, and ensure client satisfaction during events.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Student Managers responsibilities include:
- completing room setups and breakdowns
- assisting clients with Audio/Visual needs
- closing the building once a week
- work one weekend shift a month
- assisting with custodial duties, as needed
- interacting with clients face to face
- answering phones/greeting visitors
- attending mandatory Managers Meeting once a week
A successful candidate will:
- be a self-starter
- have good customer service skills
- be coachable
