Main Responsibilities :
Responsibilities are not limited to but include :
- Aid students in creating polished and professional application materials and have career conversations during the Walk-In Studio Experience (W.I.S.E Hours) that includes : resume and cover letter assistance, interview preparation and coaching, LinkedIn and Handshake assistance, life design exploration, and job and internship search
- Welcome and communicate with all in-person and telephone constituents (staff, faculty, alumni, current students, employers, and administration) at the front desk of the center
- Approve jobs and employers on Handshake
- Manage WISE check-in and appointments using the Handshake database
- Post incoming employment opportunities using Handshake
- Manage office email and social media accounts
- Lead the creation, editing, and posting of all C&LDC social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok)
- Promote the Career and Life Design Center by attending and working semesterly events
- Create awareness of the services available via faculty and student organization presentations and promoting the Career and Life Design Center
- Assist with Graduate Follow-Up (GFS) calling in the Fall and Spring semesters.
- Help UCM students get connected, integrated, and engaged with their career readiness.

Undergraduate-level applications are preferred, but all applications will be considered. All coaches will go through an 8-week training program.
Special Instructions :
