Description
In addition to managing the portfolio of enrollment management, student services, and institutional support offices within the Academic Programs and Graduate Studies area, this position leads the following critical processes for the Division of Academic Affairs : the implementation of the university strategic plan, academic leadership development programs (Academy of Academic Leadership), faculty development programming (early and mid-career faculty), curriculum management, the university general education program, HLC accreditation efforts, academic advising, tutoring and writing assistance, all university-wide course offerings (UNIV), sponsored projects and research integrity, and enrollment management operations for graduate and international students. This position also provides key leadership for undergraduate retention efforts, facilitates transfer student agreements and steers the university in its efforts to promote career and life design efforts across the institution.

25% Administer various responsibility areas of the Vice Provost for Academic Programs :
Lead the Academic of Academic Leadership.Lead early and mid-career faculty development efforts.Lead HLC accreditation efforts.Lead the Strategic Plan Council.Administer the university curriculum management process.Administer all university-wide curricular offerings (UNIV, etc.)Administer sponsored projects and research integrity operations, policy, and processes.Ensure the assessment of all academic programs and support the AVP for Academic Assessment and PlanningAssess and improve the General Education ProgramAssist the Academic Program Review Committee (APRC) with undergraduate annual program review processes.Support and encourage all academic advising, career and life design programming, tutoring and writing assistance, and testing services operations.Oversee institutional engagement with and reporting requirements to the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development.25% Serve as Dean of Graduate Studies :

Education :
Doctorate or terminal degree required appropriate to the field.Experience :
Five years of higher education administrative experience as Chair, Director, Associate Dean, or above required.Effective fiscal and personnel leadership skills required.Experience leading graduate programs and growing graduate enrollment required.Excellent oral and written communication skills required.Experience in a four-year comprehensive public institution preferred.Experience with strategic and operational planning preferred.Experience with curriculum management, assessment, and accreditation preferred.Experience leading academic affairs projects (faculty development, leadership development, general education, program review, student success, transfer student programming, etc.) preferred.Experience with international recruitment, admissions, and advising preferred.Experience working collaboratively across colleges and divisions preferred.Experience working effectively with external constituencies preferred.Special Instructions :
