General Schedule
Position typically works Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm in-office at UCO's main campus in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Position Overview
Supervise the organization's accounts payable team and processes. Oversee payments for expense vouchers and invoices. Collaborate with University teams to improve billing processes and automated systems. Handle vendor inquiries.
Department Specific Essential Job Functions
- Collaborative leader who provides excellent customer service.
- Responsible for overseeing the accounts payable department's daily payment processes & reporting.
- Facilitate University W-9 collection and 1099 processing.
- Prepare accounting and audit schedules, as needed.
- Assists with departmental training meetings and workshops.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Successfully completes each year 6 credit hours of continued education by attending Employee Relations training sessions or other related conferences and training sessions. Qualifications/Experience Required:
Requires 5 years of experience in accounts payable or related field. Additional experience in customer service, leadership, and/or accounting experience is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Carry University culture.
Ability to work independently and lead with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent computer skills with computer applications.
Exhibit clear and professional oral and written communication skills.
