Structure
The Program Director, College of Medicine, is an exempt (salaried) position employed by the University of Cincinnati Foundation (UCF) and reports to the Executive Director of Development, College of Medicine.
Focus
The Program Director coordinates and executes key initiatives and projects in support of development for the College of Medicine as assigned by the Executive Director of Development.
Specific Duties
The anticipated starting salary range for the Program Director role is $60,000 to $70,000 annually. When determining final offer amount the UC Foundation considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.

Specific Duties
- Tracks and manages key departmental metrics, including dashboard data of key metrics, fiscal year goals/metrics, and development officer productivity and progress.
- Prepares confidential information for the Executive Director including donor strategy and plans.
- Updates donor plans and contact reports in Blackbaud CRM.
- Independently leads and executes on assigned initiatives/projects, including the All-In strategy for the Academic Health Enterprise, working with stakeholders on outlining scope, goals, deliverables, budget and timing. Tracks progress and provides updates/reports to Executive Director, as requested.
- Coordinates and attends meetings, streamlining the flow of information and preparing thorough meeting minutes.
- Works with departments across the Foundation to secure appropriate information, and compiles information into clear and concise documents.
- Prepares correspondence, reports, presentations, procedures and training material on a wide variety of matters, including those which may be sensitive and confidential.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience, or advanced degree with 2-3 years of experience. Experience in higher education and/or development preferred
- Ability to manage large-scale initiatives and/or complex projects
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including a customer service orientation and ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple progress
- Ability to interact favorably with a diverse group of individuals and to foster strong, productive relationships
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A commitment to and passion for the role of development in advancing the missions of the University of Cincinnati and UC Health
