Program Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operation of a program, or function, including the Development and implementation of processes consistent with college, school or departmental strategies and processes. These positions typically do not supervise others. The mission of the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus (CU Anschutz) Emergency Management Division is to increase awareness, develop plans and procedures, provide training and exercise support to faculty, staff, and students at CU Anschutz Medical Campus in order to prepare for natural, technological, and human-made disasters, mitigate the impact when they occur, and facilitate rapid recovery and business continuity for administration, education, and research. Key Responsibilities: Emergency Preparedness Plans - 30% Lead the development of and updates to and revisions for Department, Schools, and Colleges plans designed to mitigate, respond to, and recover from significant natural or human-caused catastrophic events on or near the CU Anschutz Medical campus. Ensures that these plans are in concert with local, regional, and state planning efforts. Examples of plans include:
Emergency Preparedness Training - 30% Facilitate public outreach services to campus students, faculty, staff, leadership, and other stakeholders. Examples of public outreach services include:
Marketing and outreach - 20%
Emergency Response and Recovery - 20%

Work Location: |
Hybrid - this role is located in Aurora, CO and is eligible for a hybrid schedule of six (6) days per month, but the employee must be within one (1) hour of campus. |

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting annual salary range for this position has been established as: $80,000 - $100,000 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
