Job Summary: |
The Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a Research Services Laboratory Sciences Professional to work on preclinical and translational projects in polycystic kidney disease (PKD). PKD is the most common genetic kidney disease worldwide with currently limited therapeutic options to alleviate disease burden. The applicant will perform experiments using genetic mouse models of PKD and drug delivery approaches to study the disease mechanisms of kidney cyst growth. In addition, the applicant will perform preclinical trials that test the therapeutic efficacy of compounds and/or compound delivery methods to alleviate disease severity with the hope for clinical translation. Beyond science, the applicant will learn and utilize a wide variety of molecular and cellular techniques to perform rigorous hypothesis driven research, present research outcomes to scientific communities, and gain experience in running/managing an academic research laboratory. Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as: Intermediate Level: $48,970 - $62,290 Senior Level: $52,941 - $67,341 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
