Who We Are

The Arts & Sciences Honors Program (A&S Honors) is an interdisciplinary enrichment program for students who want to add something extra to their experience at the University of Colorado Boulder’s College of Arts & Sciences. We provide a community for highly motivated and academically engaged undergraduate students through opportunities for intellectual engagement in honors courses, co-curricular and academic-inspired events, and honors thesis research and creative work.

As a program housed across all Arts & Sciences departments, we strive to take an intersectional approach to the lived experiences, backgrounds, identities, positions, and perspectives of students, faculty, and staff. We value all members of the CU community and recognize the historical and continuing inequities in preparation for, access to, and success in higher education, including at CU Boulder.

The College of Arts & Sciences is the academic home to all five of the university’s Nobel laureates. Additionally, it is home to the university’s four National Medal of Science winners, eight MacArthur "Genius Award" winners, 100 Fulbright Scholars, 17 Guggenheim Fellows, 14 Packard Fellows, 24 members of the National Academy of Sciences, and 23 members of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
