Job Summary
The MACLab welcomes applications for an embedded hardware and software engineer. This position will write code in C/C and Python for embedded (micro)controllers, write interface and API routines on a host computer, and write test protocols for the printer. The successful candidate will also document the work using standard code-documentation tools as well as long-form written documentation. The anticipated start date is February 10, 2025.
Who We Are
The MACLab is an academic lab within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at CU Boulder, researching multimaterial design and fabrication.
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
This role will assist the PI in the design and fabrication of a multimaterial 3D printer. The role will require frequent meetings with the lab PI as well as independent work and reporting of this work via written form (github and email).

The hire rate for this temporary position is $20.00 per hour.
