This temporary 49%-time teaching associate professor position will teach undergraduate courses including cross-listed courses in the Department of Computer Science as assigned by the department chair. The typical course load for a full-time teaching professors is 24 credit hours (80% time) per academic year and service activity (20% time). Course-load for this position will be prorated based on part-time effort.

- Curriculum development including the development of new courses
- Advising undergraduate majors
- Participating in College and Departmental committees and meetings
- Other as assigned by the Chair of the Computer Science Department
- Guiding undergraduate students in independent studies
- Developing and teaching online courses.
- Priority will be given to applications submitted by: January 13, 2025.
- Potential interview dates: week of January 13, 2025.
- Potential start date: January 21, 2025.

Qualifications
- A MS Computer Science OR a related degree is required.
- Applicants must have proven experience teaching at least one course as a teaching assistant, instructor of record, or the equivalent.
- Experience teaching one or more relevant (CS or GDD) courses at the college level is preferred.
- An earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field or relevant industry experience is highly desired.
