This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

This is a revolving Lecturer Pool for the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. If there is a course opening and your qualifications match a course and the minimum requirements, you may be contacted at that time.
Salary/Pay Range: $5,000 per four-credit course. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.
Summary
- Teaching writing and Russian composition classes
- Grading, meeting with students, and any other requirements for conducting coursework for students
- Conducting research on teaching methods, materials, and Russian languages that can be used in the classroom
- Developing lesson plans and curricula based on the needs of individual students

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs will not sponsor work visas or permanent resident applications for this position.
- Master’s degree in Russian language, or comparison post-Bachelor Russian language achieved literature certificate(s) is required.
- Candidates must have current Teaching Certificate/License.
- Proven written and verbal proficiency in Russian is essential.
