Assistant Professor/Clinical
The University of Connecticut (UConn Health) is seeking a full-time primary care pediatrician who has enthusiasm and energy for working with the underserved and is dedicated to community pediatrics, advocacy and medical education. Located in Hartford, the Burgdorf Health Center serves as an outpatient pediatric site for students from all four years of medical school as well as family medicine residents. This clinician educator position is well-suited for both an early career physician looking for a supportive environment where they can advance their academic and clinical skills, as well as for a more seasoned practitioner seeking opportunities for involvement in University activities in Undergraduate and Graduate Medical Education. Clinical responsibilities include direct patient care, consultation for APRNs, shared telephone call and trainee education. Faculty appointment is provided in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Positions are available immediately. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and congruent with AAMC Faculty Salary table guidelines.
