The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UConn Health sees to hire a part-time or full-time Obstetrical hospitalist to join our obstetrics team.
Responsibilities primarily involve clinical care of patients as a member of the UConn Medical group, the faculty practice plan of the School of Medicine. Additionally, you will teach and precept residents, fellows, and medical students as part of your faculty responsibilities and may be assigned other duties and responsibilities as may be necessary (e.g. community outreach, lectures, committee membership, etc.).
In particular, your primary responsibilities will involve covering the Obstetric service evenings and nights, and supervising the in-house Ob/Gyn residents. You may also be expected to hold office hours several evenings a week for several hours.
Qualifications:
Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology by ABOG
Valid State of Connecticut Medical License
