ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - PSYCHIATRY
The University of Connecticut Health Center, Department of Psychiatry is seeking applicants for a full time (1.0 FTE) General Psychiatrist at the Assistant Professor Level. This position will be devoted to providing inpatient clinical services on the Psychiatry Unit at John Dempsey Hospital as well as outpatient hospital-based clinical services at UConn Health. Successful applicants will demonstrate abilities in clinical team leadership and a commitment to the teaching and training of medical students and psychiatry residents. The position requires a license to practice psychiatry in the State of Connecticut and board eligibility in General Psychiatry. Applicants who have training and/or experience working in correctional settings are preferred.
