This position will work as part of a diverse and integrated team, developing algorithms for autonomous vehicles within a DevSecOps framework. While algorithm development and testing is primary, this position may include writing and testing software in several high-level languages; configuring and testing hardware systems; developing and testing software applications from concept to implementation; and performing systems integration and testing for technology maturation. There may be flexibility to work remotely for some portion of the job, but the majority of the work will be performed on-site in Dayton, OH as part of a larger team.

Minimum Qualifications
- BS degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, OR MS degree plus 7 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work as part of a diverse technical team
- Ability to develop deployable software in C/C /Java
- Ability to use Docker and Kubernetes
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain US SECRET clearance

- BS (or higher) degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Past leadership experience and/or willingness to take on leadership responsibilities as the opportunity and need arises
- Demonstrated experience working in a DoD-funded research environment
- Demonstrated experience working with DevSecOps environments including GitLab
- Demonstrated experience working with container-based software design including Docker and Kubernetes
- Demonstrated experience integrating disparate software components into a single, coherent system
- Demonstrated experience supporting lab and flight testing of integrated software systems
- Active US SECRET (or higher) clearance
