The University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Additive Manufacturing Print Tech to join our team! This exciting opportunity that will support advanced manufacturing programs for sustainment activities. We invite qualified applicants to apply today!
This position will support advanced manufacturing programs for sustainment activities. This position will primarily support the polymer manufacturing lab and will support the metals lab when requested. Typical tasks include but are not limited to build setup and generation, equipment/lab maintenance, consumable and spare parts procurement, while adhering to lab and equipment guidelines. The successful candidate will understand manufacturing safety, techniques and provide guidance on design for manufacturability, build stops/lessons learned, equipment and part set-up, and part processing. The majority of work will support government customers, but some industry partners will be supported as well.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduation or its equivalent
- Experience with an ERP system
- Experience in operating and maintaining lab or industrial equipment
- Familiarity with CAD software packages
- Experience with lab or shop inventory management
- Experience with lab environments and adherence to lab policies & procedures
- Attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills with team members at all levels
- Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen

- 1 years working directly with DMLM additive manufacturing equipment
- Experience with training other team members
- Experience in interacting with design engineers and other technical personnel
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Prior experience with UDRI policies and processes
- Experience with Air Force manufacturing processes
- Experience with build set-up, unpacking and maintenance on Stratasys (F900 and 450MC) and EOS (M290) printers
