The Associate Project Analyst will develop, maintain, and execute project schedules and budgets in coordination with team/technical leads and program managers; facilitate and follow-up team meetings; Advise team and technical leads, management, and clients regarding project cost, schedule, performance while highlighting issues and proposing viable course of action. Duties will also include compilation of monthly financial reports and project progress summaries. The project analyst will also track, coordinate, and deliver all contract deliverables to fulfill contract requirements. This position will also liaise with internal business offices to support project- and proposal-related activities.
- Bachelors degree in an engineering or business related field
- 1 years project/program management experience in a technical environment
- 1 years experience in new product development or technology transition environment
- 1 years facilitating team meetings, communications, and related activities
- 1 years of stakeholder/customer communications/management
- Understanding of managing project financials or budgets
- Understanding of tracking and managing project risks and issues
- Experience building and maintaining project schedules in Microsoft Project or similar project/resource planning tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
- Masters degree in an engineering or business related field
- 3 years project/program management experience in a technical environment
- 3 years experience in new product development or technology transition environment
- 2 years managing project financials or budgets
- 2 years tracking and managing project risks and issues
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Scrum Master certification
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) Certification
- Systems engineering / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
