Job Description:

The Department of Pediatrics, Pulmonary Division is actively accepting application from Federal Work Study Students for a part-time office position. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, with good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team setting.

Duties to include:

• Processing faxes, scanning and triage incoming calls for the office
• Delivering excellent patient centered customer service and proper phone etiquette
• Performing a variety of clerical tasks including answering a multi-line phone system, maintaining patient medical records, scheduling appointments, processing referrals in Epic messages, monitoring incoming faxes and referrals, and other duties assigned

Expected Salary:

$13.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

• University of Florida admitted, degree-seeking student with a minimum 2.0 GPA and registered at least half-time
• Current federal work study award recipient

Preferred Qualifications:

Good interpersonal and communication skills.
