Overview
Assists supervisor with staff education, competency and evaluations. Strives to provide optimal patient care and safety. Performs and assists with imaging procedures. Upholds the Standard of Practice of a registered technologist.Qualifications
Required Education: Vocational Degree required: Graduate from School of Radiologic Technology recognized by the ARRT. Necessary Skills: 1. Approach and manage stress/traumatic situations in a calm manner. 2. Knowledge of Imaging procedures and practices. 3. Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment. 4. Knowledge of computer technology, electronic imaging, and ability to troubleshoot problems. Required Licensure/Certifications: Current BLS Certification, (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technology and Florida State License. ARRT certification in CT. Required Experience: 1 - 2 years of CT experience AND 3 - 5 years of General Radiology experience Preferred Experience: Specialized training in CT. Experience with PAC's.
