Overview
Provides occupational therapy patient treatment within the established plan of care and treatment protocols and under the direction of a licensed Occupational TherapistQualifications
Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups. Required Education: Associate's Degree; Graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy Assistant approved by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education in collaboration with the American Occupational Therapy Association. Necessary Skills: 1. Demonstrates knowledge and skill in a broad range of Occupational Therapy treatment interventions 2. Demonstrate strong communication skills. Proactive, positive approach to problem solving 3. Demonstrates strong ability to use computer, Microsoft Office suite. 4. Able to work independently Required Licensure/Certifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant in State of Florida. BLS from the American Heart Association Required Experience: Less than one (1) year clinical experience in area of job opening (acute, outpatient, etc.) Preferred Experience: Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services.Occupational Therapist Assistant, COTA
