Job Description:Duties will be portioned out approximately as follows:
• Perform tissue sectioning
• Perform immunohistochemistry
• Perform tissue clearing
• Perform imaging (confocal and/or lightsheet)
• Animal colony maintenance (breeding, weaning, record-keeping)
• General laboratory work (preparation of buffers, reagents, etc)
• Computer-based data analysisExpected Salary:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Minimum Requirements:Previous laboratory experience and ability to communicate effectively with the PI.
Preferred Qualifications: Must be self-motivated, organized, able to work independently under supervisor’s guidance, and provide technical support to PI. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills needed. Must possess the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, and effectively complete tasks in a timely manner.
