Pediatric Neurologist - Clinical Ast / Aso / Professor
Job Description: The University of Florida Health (UF Health) Pediatric Neurology division is seeking a board-certified/ board-eligible Pediatric Neurologist with specialized training and expertise in movement disorders. This faculty position offers an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in clinical care, research, and education in pediatric movement disorders. This is a non-tenure accruing position. Rank will be assigned based on qualifications and experience. Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive clinical care to pediatric patients with movement disorders, including dystonia, chorea, ataxia, tremors, tics, and other hyperkinetic or hypokinetic disorders.
- Develop and lead specialized movement disorder clinics and programs, including those involving deep brain stimulation (DBS), botulinum toxin injections, and other advanced therapies.
- Collaborate with neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, genetics, and other specialties to provide multidisciplinary care.
- Engage in clinical research, including investigator-initiated and collaborative studies in movement disorders.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows within the Department of Pediatrics and Neurology.
- Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and community outreach efforts.
- Maintain an active role in professional organizations related to movement disorders and pediatric neurology.

Commensurate with education and experience
Minimum Requirements:- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatric Neurology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Florida.
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Movement Disorders preferred.
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, research, and teaching.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
