Shift Hours: VARIABLE
Days of Week: VARIABLE
Perform polysomnograms overnight. Administers oxygen and nasal continuous positive airway pressure and employs ventilatory assist devices in accordance with established protocols. Recognizes at risk events and notifies appropriate physicians.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent. Degree is preferred but not required.
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist certification (RPSGT) from the BRPT or the AASMs Registered Sleep Technologist certification (RST) is required.
- Will consider board eligible graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program.
- The applicant MUST pass board examination within 3 months of employment.
- Current CPR required prior to first day of clinical work.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist certification (RPSGT) from the BRPT or the AASMs Registered Sleep Technologist certification (RST)
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose
