Position Summary

This position is an entry level part-time maintenance position, primarily assisting their skilled supervisor with projects and facility turnovers. The incumbent will be asked to perform solo duties with minimum supervision. Duties related to minor plumbing, air conditioning filter changes, touch-up painting and vacuuming bunk beds. Candidates will also be asked to assist in projects involving carpentry, electrical, and mechanical. As experience is gained, the employee progressively becomes more skilled and uses more independent judgment with facilities repairs.

Physical Demands

• Involves working in varying temperatures and weather conditions, repetitively climbing bunk bed ladders.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Driving as needed to perform job duties.

Assist Facilities Support Supervisor with building repair and maintenance. Work to include minor electrical, plumbing, and painting.

Assist with cleaning during cabin turnover; work to include sweeping, mopping, and using a backpack vacuum to clean bunk beds. Pull trash around facility.
