Minimum Qualifications
Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education / experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
A strong preference will be given to candidates with a master's degree in business, sport administration or related field, knowledge of Paciolan and Ticketmaster ticketing systems, experience in managing / administration or earnings operation involving sales, distribution systems and E-Commerce software.
Position Summary
Senior Director / Director of Ticket Operations is a specialized, professional position. Primarily independently oversees ticketing for Football but has authority for other sports as needed. Responsible for the guidance and administration of the ticket office as it relates to Football. This position directs the daily operations of Football ticketing including customer service, application creation and processing, order fulfillment and ticket distribution. This position will also oversee at least one full time staff member.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and / or Competencies
- Knowledge of ticket office functions such as season ticket renewal and distribution process for all ticketed sports.
- Excellent computer skills including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work cooperatively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Independent thinker, self-motivated, and accustomed to high volume, fast-paced, detail-oriented work environment.
- Specialized knowledge of Paciolan ticketing system including all hosted and development-oriented programs.
- Knowledge of managing / administration or earnings operation involving sales, distribution systems and E-Commerce software.
- Ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations regarding all ticket related operations.
Physical Demands
Stand; walk; use hands and reach with arms. . Lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Close and distance vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but escalates to high during athletic competitions. Driving as needed to perform job duties.
