Position Summary
Serves as the primary liaison between the University of Hartford's College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions' (ENHP) and clinical partners, and coordinates and/or assists with college special projects. Performs all duties in full support of the University's mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University's students.
Hiring Range
Budgeted starting hourly rate is $20.00 to $25.00, depending upon experience
Key Responsibilities
Partners with the Dean and the Office of General Counsel in the development, implementation, and oversight of clinical contracts, addendums, memorandums of understanding and other documentation related to student clinical placement affiliates and partners and partnerships (e.g. liability insurance certificates). Facilitates negotiations with clinical facility partners for collegiate programs in consultation with the Dean, University directors of clinical education, and the Office of General Counsel.
Maintains ongoing tracking, evaluation and analysis of the clinical partner sites. Tracks number of clinical partnership sites used and number of students in each site and provides Dean with a report each term or as requested. Assists the College in identifying new partnership opportunities designed to optimize student placements and support program growth, competition and viability.
Maintains and updates program academic and clinical education policies and procedures manuals, participates in advisory committee meetings for all professional programs as requested. Coordinates/assists Dean and Associate Dean with tracking student progression and notification to students each semester.
Coordinates special projects as directed by Dean or Assistant Dean of Collegiate Finance & Operations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
