Assistant Professor (Finance)
We are seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Finance to join our faculty at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo's College of Business and Economics.
Duties: The successful candidate will teach introductory and advanced undergraduate courses in Finance, as well as maintain a strong scholarly record through research and publication in reputable journals. They will also mentor students, engage in community and university service, and hold regular office hours.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a PhD in Finance or a related field from an accredited institution. A demonstrated record of research and teaching excellence is essential. Preferred candidates will have experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to scholarship.
Responsibilities: Teach finance courses, conduct research, mentor students, and participate in departmental service. Sustain a minimum of five office hours per week and prepare course materials. Work collaboratively with the college dean and other faculty members.
