This is a full-time on-site role for a Contracting / Procurement Specialist located in Honolulu, HI. The Contracting / Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts. Daily tasks will include assessing procurement needs, liaising with vendors, monitoring contract performance, and ensuring compliance with university policies and regulations.
- Experience with Purchase Orders and Procurement
- Skills in Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Experience in a university or public sector environment is a plus
