Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funds.Duties and Responsibilities : Classroom lecturers in elementary music, music education, theory and aural training, composition, ethnomusicology, music appreciation and musicology, woodwind, string, and brass methods, class voice, class and slack key guitar, ukulele, ensembles in jazz, orchestra, percussion, Hawaiian, Okinawan, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Oceanic music. Teach one or more courses in area of expertise as assigned by the Music Department Chair. Meeting course requirements as established by the department chair.
