May be for day, evening, or weekend offerings on- and off-campus. Selectee is required to complete the COE New Faculty orientation in the first year and pass a criminal background check and Title IX training.Looking for individuals with specific K12 work or educational experience to teach the following coursework : Education LawEducational InquiryIntroduction to Educational AdministrationHuman Resources ManagementPrincipals of School LeadershipTeacher Development and EvaluationSeminar in Governance and PolicyEducational FinanceCulture and CommunitySeminar in Funding Private EducationNon-Profit ManagementDuties and ResponsibilitiesTeach various undergraduate and graduate level courses in the Departments of Educational Foundation (EDEF) and Educational Administration (EDEA).Prepare course syllabi that meets COE accreditation standards.Mentor and assist students.Complete grades on a timely basis.Attend faculty meetings and other duties that the supervisor assigns.Minimum QualificationsA Master's degree in Education or related field from a college or university of recognized standing, with the major work in the field in which the instructional assignment is made; equivalent experience in a relevant area will be considered (2 years minimum).Evidence of ability to teach effectively and to direct group discussions.Poise and good address for meeting and conferring with others.Ability to travel independently to various geographical locations in a timely manner.
