Salary Information: Minimum for Academic Year 2024-2025, $1,911 per credit hour, commensurate with education and experience.
Other Conditions:- For lecturer applicant pool, part-time, pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements. Courses may be taught during the day, evening, weekend, or online.
- Teach assigned courses in Accounting such as Governmental Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Auditing, Corporate and Partnership Taxation, Individual Taxation, Intermediate Accounting, Intro to Financial or Managerial Accounting, and Cost Accounting.
- Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
- Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
- Work under supervision of division chair in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in discipline area.
- As needed, work with multi-media presentation, distance education instruction, and teaching at off-campus sites.
- Possession of a Master's degree in Accounting, a related discipline or current Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Professional experience in Accounting
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
- College teaching experience.
