Other Conditions: For placement in lecturer pool for Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025. Mainly part-time employment, contingent on approval to fill, course offerings (ranging from 3 to 12 credits), position clearance, availability of funds, and sufficient enrollment. Appointments offered on a semester basis.
Duties and Responsibilities- Teach first-year, second-year and third-year German classes. Teaching load to be determined (between 1 and 4 courses per semester).
Minimum Qualifications- M.A. or equivalent degree in German; high level proficiency in German and English; experience teaching German at the college or university level; excellent student evaluations.
Desirable Qualifications- Evidence of student-oriented and innovative instruction.
