Location: UH at Manoa
Salary: Depends on qualifications.Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time
Temporary/Permanent: Temporary
Other Conditions: General funds. Appointment to begin ASAP and end May 16, 2025. Open until filled.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct lecture attendance for 2 sections of BIOL 404, meet with Professors, act as main student contact (office hours, email communications, etc.), grading and Laulima maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications
Recent graduate (BA or BS) from a UHM Biology Degree program, with B or better grades in biology major coursework and B or better in writing-intensive courses; experience with scientific writing and presenting, peer review, and proficiency in word processing and general software skills.
Desirable Qualifications
completed BIOL 404 (Advanced Topics in Marine Biology) or equivalent senior capstone writing intensive course with B or above, grant writing experience, job application experience, mentoring/tutoring or grading experience, and Laulima proficiency.To Apply:
