Description

The University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP) invites applications for a full-time Instructor of Mathematics and Statistics, beginning in Spring 2026. This is a non-tenure track position at the rank of instructor, contingent on funding, and is renewable annually up to 3 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of mathematical sciences general education courses. There are no research expectations and minimal service expectations associated with this position.

UHSP offers a vibrant campus experience, with over 30,000 square feet of research space and recognition in the National Science Foundation’s Higher Education Research and Development Survey. With the recent expansion of undergraduate programs in the College of Arts & Sciences, we are seeking additional instructors to support our growing enrollment. 

Qualifications


Qualifications:  

  • A Master’s degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, or a closely related discipline, completed by the date of appointment.  
  • Experience teaching college level math or statistics courses (experience can include graduate teaching assistantships).   
  • An interest in relating mathematics and statistics to students interested in health sciences. 
  • Has experience working with diverse groups of students, faculty and staff
