Medical surgical clinical and teaching experience are a plus. The anticipated start date for a qualified applicant for a 9 month promotion eligible non-Tenure-Track faculty position with a starting date as early as Fall 2023, the search will continue until the position is filled.The University of Houston is a Carnegie Tier 1 public research university located close to major energy companies and the Texas Medical Center. Doctorate in nursing or related field required.2. Master's degree in nursing from a professionally accredited school of nursing if the doctorate is not in nursing.3. National certification in clinical specialty area required.4. Candidate must possess unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Texas.5. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required.
