The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCC) is responsible for establishing, implementing, directing, and supervising the strength and conditioning programs for assigned intercollegiate athletic teams, as well as assisting with the design and implementation of the strength and conditioning of football. The ASCC will also assist with coordinating the intercollegiate athletics use of the Iverson Speed and Strength Center, as well as assist in the daily cleaning and upkeep of the facility. The ASCC will assist in the supervision of graduate assistants, student assistants, interns, practicum students, part time employees and work study individuals. The position reports directly to the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Position Qualifications
Required Experience
- Two years of experience in intercollegiate strength and conditioning
- Experience implementing strength and conditioning programs for multiple sports
- Experience using computer software and applications for word processing, email and internet research
- Experience with OSHA blood borne pathogen guidelines
- Experience communicating effectively with student-athletes, coaches, staff, facilities personnel, and medical professionals
- Experience with NCAA and conference rules and regulations related to Strength and Conditioning
