Position Overview:
The Campus Visit Coordinator plays a key role in shaping the visitor experience at the University of Idaho. This position serves as the primary coordinator for the university’s visit program, managing daily and group visits while overseeing the Vandal REPS student tour guides. In addition to coordinating visits, this role supports the operations of the Campus Visits team, contributing to recruitment, enrollment, and orientation events. The Campus Visit Coordinator collaborates with academic colleges and departments across campus to ensure a seamless and engaging visit experience. As an integral member of the campus visits team, this position interacts directly with visitors, meets with prospective students and families, and provides essential information about admissions, financial aid, and academic programs.

Required Experience
- Experience coordinating schedules and/or events
- Experience managing or coordinating employees or volunteers
- Experience working in a customer service environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain membership in admissions, enrollment and campus visit based organizations will be required for this position. This may include CIVSA, IACRAO, NACAC, PNACAC, NODA, NASPA and AEEPP as determined by department needs
- Ability to work select evenings and weekends as necessary
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrated knowledge of University of Idaho culture, history, traditions, buildings and climate
- Knowledge of university transitional programs, orientation programming and/or first year experience programs
- Demonstrated experience maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor, thinking clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking
- Experience training employees
- Experience collecting, analyzing and reporting visit-related data to assess program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement
- Experience working in a college admissions/recruitment/visitation/orientation atmosphere
- Experience using Constituent Relationship Management technology
