- Achieve independent funding through R01 grants or other related mechanisms.
- Develop and lead an independent research program focused on metabolism and metabolic diseases.
- Commitment to advancing science and educating the next generation of scientists
- Must have a PhD in a relevant field, specifically metabolic diseases.
- Proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience with obtaining career development grant funding.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring students.
