Position Summary
The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) College of Business Administration invites applications for non-tenure system faculty positions for full-time Lecturers and Teaching Professors at the assistant, associate or full levels. The role will entail teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in any or all the areas of financial accounting, managerial accounting, accounting information systems, auditing, taxation, and data analytics. We have a specific need for expertise in business law and ethics. In addition to teaching, candidates must be willing to provide service to the department, business school, university, and accounting profession.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Non-Tenure system faculty in the College of Business Administration teach courses to undergraduate and/or graduate students in their field of expertise and provide service to their department, college, and/or campus.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
- Requirements for the rank of Lecturer include a master’s degree in accounting or related field, evidence of teaching capability, demonstrated efforts in department service and in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion through teaching.
- A CPA license or law degree (J.D.) is preferred but not required.
