Will also provide organizational and administrative support to the tri-campus DoCS Course Directors and LCCs with course alignment.
Duties & Responsibilities:Coordinates activities related to DoCS which includes: Coordinates clinical skills sessions with simulation center, create schedules for students, faculty, and standardized patients; update and distribute materials for students, standardized patients, and faculty and tutors. Coordinates small groups and lectures held weekly, assist faculty in preparation for these sessions, update and distribute materials for students and faculty and tutors. Facilitates the flow of daily communication between M1/M2 students, faculty, and tutors, simulation staff to enhance learning activities.Coordinate activities related to tri-campus DoCS which includes: Coordinates meetings with tri-campus Course Directors or their designee and LCCs to meet with block directors and theme leaders. Coordinates tri-campus meetings with simulation faculty and staff involved with the DoCS course to prepare for high-stakes standardized patient assessments. Communicates with local campuses for coordination of course materials, tri-campus echo recordings, tri-campus scheduling, and alignment of sessions. Serve as administrative support and record keeper for meetings. Schedule and attend all meetings and ensure all meetings have zoom links and take minutes for block meetings and meetings with discipline teams. Schedule meetings for course leadership to discuss student feedback and campus specific block reports to facilitate development of the college wide annual course report.Responsible for maintaining and updating DoCS courses’ Blackboard sites including evaluation of Blackboard content and its effectiveness and usage. Responsible for maintaining and updating Box folders for faculty.Serves as liaison between students and faculty to address concerns related to DoCS and actively communicates with course faculty and students to ensure seamless flow of course activities.In the absence of the Associate Director serve as a contact for the course.Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as requested by DoCS Course Directors and Associate Director.
