Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently plan and conduct experiments in RNA kinetics using real-time PCR and RNA seq.
- Analyzing data from experiments.
- Supporting laboratory needs in the wet lab.
- Assisting in the training of graduate and undergraduate students.
- Preparing manuscripts and other presentations for publication and other presentations for national and international meetings. Assume additional appropriate related duties to further the mission of the department.
- PhD in Physics
- Demonstrated experience in biological physics wetlab for RNA quantification and fluorescence microscopy
