Duties & Responsibilities
Talent Strategy
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for a variety of roles, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while maintaining compliance.
- Develop and implement talent strategy for Academic Professional, Civil Service, Faculty, and other positions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants and administrative representatives, providing excellent customer service and guidance.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to create job descriptions, approve salaries, and screen applicants.
Applicant and Committee Management
Interview Coordination
Communication and Support
Compliance and Process Improvement

Organization & Attention to Detail- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines with accuracy. Self-motivated and proactive, with a keen eye for detail and process improvement.
Communication & Collaboration- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to engage with applicants, hiring managers, and leadership. A relationship-builder who thrives in cross-functional teamwork and aligns efforts toward shared goals. Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and knowing when to escalate issues appropriately.
Technology & Adaptability- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat) and ability to quickly learn and adapt to HR systems. Comfortable using online meeting platforms and collaboration tools.
Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5020 - Human Resource Associate position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the close of the search. The position works in-person in an office environment. The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000. We strive to provide a competitive salary, considering factors such as available market data, internal equity, candidate experience and qualifications, collective bargaining agreements, and budget constraints. The final salary offer will be determined through a thorough assessment of these elements. Work authorization sponsorship is not available for this position.
