I owa Health Care has an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our expanding Strategic Implementation team. This team is OUTSIDE of Information Technology (IT) and works on strategic operations.
The Project Manager works independently assuming primary responsibility for planning, directing, and delivering project activities through the entire project life cycle . The PM is responsible for achieving project objectives and completion on time, on budget, and sustainably improving clinical operations.
The incumbent may independently lead one or multiple small to medium projects that have department or site-level strategic importance. Regularly provides project information to executive leaders, committees, project sponsors, and department leadership . Must have strong business acumen with the ability to work with people from diverse functional backgrounds and build relationships across the organization.
Responsibilities :
- Bring an outstanding drive to transform health care in a meaningful way by utilizing passion, project skills, and people engagement (3P) to deliver results.
- Demonstrate the "art of project management" going beyond the mechanics of project management methodologies to build trusted relationships and act as an internal project management consultant to business and clinical teams.
- Manage project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support Health System performance improvement goals in collaboration with senior management owners and stakeholders from various departments .
- Review project plans and aid in the execution of plans. Ensure all projects include current state analysis with operational processes and data analysis, future state creation including pilots with proven success metrics, and detailed execution.
- Work with all levels to understand operations, develop plans and workflow, and execute change management.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders; delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel .
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools ; track project milestones and deliverables; develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Build, develop, and grow any relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Conduct closing reviews and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
