Description
Serve as a Supply Chain Department liaison for clinics and operating rooms throughout the hospital. Utilize Microsoft Excel, SPM, and Tableau to locate supplies and instruments. Prompt communication with hospital staff regarding emergencies and requests. Ability to move throughout hospital, move up to 25 pounds, and frequently transport heavy case carts. Ability to move and position self to handle inventory, including high / low shelving. Employees will need a valid driver's license. Other duties as assigned. This position will be scheduled 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays. This position is performed fully on campus.
Position Responsibilities :
- Procure and deliver goods and services : Evaluate, procure, receive, store, and deliver goods and services. Initiate requisitions to procure goods and services at the direction of others.
Organize and maintain hospital inventory.
Assist with inventory management throughout the hospital.
Work directly with hospital staff to effectively communicate supply chain requests and / or issues for resolution.
Responsible for the maintenance of inventory data and scanning.
May provide training to other employees and hospital end users.
