The University of Iowa, Treasury Operations department is seeking a Treasury Services Specialist. The Treasury Services Specialist will perform a broad range of accounting and financial responsibilities to assure effective and compliant organizational, department, and unit operations related to banking and investment services.
This position is eligible for remote work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location
Duties to Include :
- Serve as primary customer service liaison to University of Iowa departments for banking services and provide information and guidance to departmental staff.
- Coordinate daily operations of banking services programs, including merchant card services, eDeposit, and SMART, to enable accurate and efficient processes.
- Assist in daily cash management functions : review and validate financial activity, calculate available balances, recommend bank transfers for funding or investment.
- Maintain documentation of financial / bank service agreements and authorized signers on University bank and investment accounts. Update authorized signers as appropriate.
- General administrative duties, including initiation of payments and routine departmental tasks as assigned.
- Advise institutional units. Provide training, recommend and assist in developing training solutions. May provide functional and or administrative supervision to students and / or staff to achieve outcomes.
Location : University Capitol Centre (UCC) - Remote
Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm
